Melikgazi Municipality, which has built a new Qurban Bazaar for the citizens of Melikgazi to perform their Eid Qurban comfortably and continues its work at high pressure in Mimarsinan Bazaar.

Applications for stallholder to take part in the market started today.

Stating that they moved the Serkent Qurban bazaar to the Mimarsinan region, Melikgazi Mayor Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, "As it is known, the qurban bazaar established in Serkent District has been used for years.However, since the surrounding of the place was overbuild, our citizens were aggrieved by the smell, flies and heavy traffic.In order to prevent that aggrievement, we moved it to this region, which is right next to the Mimarsinan Organized Industrial Zone, where there is no settlement around it. It will be very easy to reach from Malatya road and transportation will be provided very easily by passing through the viaduct in Talas region. We are establishing a new market place on an area of 100 thousand square meters.Therefore, this area is now our Qurban Bazaar , which we will use for a long time from now on and where we will slaughter animals.A work at high pressure continues in this area. Since we will use this place constantly, we will now have a mosque, toilet, police station, veterinary point and slaughter points. Now it has become this, the rocks are broken, the ground is being formed. Hopefully, it will catch up with the Eid-al-Adha and this will be a very nice clean area.
