204 RIGHT HOLDERS RECEIVED THEIR NEW HOMES

Melikgazi Municipality, a pioneering and reference municipality with its successful work in urban transformation, held a handover and lottery ceremony for 204 apartments within the scope of the Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighborhood 2nd Stage Urban Transformation Project.

Mayor Palancıoğlu, stating that they will also carry out the 3rd stage of urban transformation in Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighborhood, concluded his words as follows: “We are carrying out urban transformation in many areas of Melikgazi. We are ensuring that our citizens live in more comfortable and safe buildings. One of the first things we did was to reduce the 15-story buildings to 10 stories. In this sense, I thank all my fellow Assembly members. We passed this unanimously in the Assembly. We are also trying to reduce the risk that our citizens will take by making changes in the planning with fault lines. In addition, we are not only carrying out urban transformation in places where there are shantytowns, we are also carrying out transformation in high-rise areas. Melikgazi District Governor Sedat Sırrı Arısoy, stating that successful works have been accomplished in Kayseri in the name of municipality, said, “Turkey is an earthquake country. In this sense, urban transformation is very meaningful and very important. While urban transformation is generally done on a building basis, in Kayseri it is done on an island basis. Not only are buildings renovated. Buildings are constructed together with social facilities and living spaces. There is a high-quality structure. The people of Kayseri are very lucky.
