Melikgazi Municipality, together with the Mediterranean Exporters' Association, started the work of the foreign trade high school, which it will implement to train intermediate staff for the Organized Industrial Zone.

    Stating that they started the week with a good work, Mayor of Melikgazi Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “We started working to establish a Foreign Trade High School in Melikgazi together with our Mediterranean Exporters' Association. Thankfully, with the approval of our Minister of Commerce, Mehmet Muş, we came to an agreement as a result of the efforts of Onur Kılıçer, Chairman of the Mediterranean Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters' Association, and on the way to the Organized Industrial Zone Directorate allocated to our municipality, we reached a certain point regarding the construction of a high school on a beautiful land on the way. We have reached a stage. Hopefully, by signing our protocol as soon as possible, we will provide Kayseri with a beautiful high school that will fill the shortage of Semi-qualified worker in foreign trade, especially for industrialists. As a municipality, we know how important education is. We have brought many high schools such as aviation, technology high schools, science high schools and Anatolian high schools to our district and we are making very different investments from primary school, kindergarten, middle school and high school. I would especially like to thank the Mediterranean Exporters' Association and Mr. Onur. I hope we will realize the construction of the school in Melikgazi as soon as possible. Best wishes." said. 

    Onur KILIÇER, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akdeniz Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters' Association, who said that Melikgazi Municipality allocated a land for the construction of the school said, "With the efforts of our esteemed Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu and our ministry, we have built a land close to the Organized Industrial Zone in Melikgazi, which is in great need. A nice plot of land has been allocated in the section. We hope to complete the school building on this land as soon as possible, to bring it to our Kayseri and to work in the field of foreign trade, operation and marketing, which the exporting companies in the Organized Industrial Zone need so much.” he said.
