Atelier: Efforts Will Turn into Products in Melikgazi
Stating that the works in the exhibition reflect the effort, sweat, and productivity of the trainees and make significant contributions to the development of their skills, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “We are holding another year-end exhibition. I thank our teachers. They are truly very dedicated in supporting our facilities. I also thank our women and trainees. They produce very beautiful products. Now these products will be transformed into finished goods at Workshop Melikgazi. We will purchase certain products per item. Therefore, we will contribute a little to their household budgets. We are opening the first Workshop Melikgazi in Mimarsinan Neighborhood, God willing. Later, we will open Workshop Melikgazi in all our social facilities. We will have our women produce certain products here and contribute to their budgets by purchasing them. We, as the municipality, will sell what we buy from them. In this way, the efforts of our women will be transformed into products. I wish the exhibition to be successful and thank all our trainees and everyone involved individually. Our courses will continue at Art Melikgazi. We are waiting for everyone there as well.”
Melikgazi District Governor Sedat Sırrı Arısoy said, “Learning is a lifelong process. In this sense, public education is very valuable. I would like to thank our esteemed Mayor Mustafa Palancıoğlu for the support he has given us. It is also very valuable that we have art centers and facilities like Gön Han, which we appreciate and fall in love with when we see them, in Melikgazi, setting a vision for us. I congratulate our trainees who contributed to this beautiful exhibition and wish the exhibition success.” he said.
