Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “As Melikgazi Municipality, we have achieved a major transformation by bringing our vision of heartfelt municipal services to digital platforms. Our Research and Development Directorate has made the corporate website fully compliant with the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Access to the digital content on our site is now easier for our disabled individuals. With the new update, we aim to enable all our citizens with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities to access municipal services digitally without needing anyone's help. With the technical improvements made, the website has been equipped with many new functions, from screen reader systems to voice commands, from high contrast options to easy navigation features. In the digitalized world, no one should be left behind. We are including everyone in the digital world with our solutions. Because we know that accessibility is not a privilege, but the most fundamental human right. The digital doors of Melikgazi are open to all our citizens without any barriers.
