Melikgazi Municipality, Art The opening of the "Year-End Exhibition" consisting of handcrafted works of the trainees who received training at the course centers was held in Melikgazi.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. congratulated all the trainees and instructors who contributed, produced, and added value to art and craftsmanship for the exhibition. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “Our Melikgazi Municipality's courses are receiving a lot of interest in our district. Our trainees not only acquire new skills, but also actively participate in production. It is very important for people to receive education, but our citizens who participate in our courses also spend their days like therapy. They feel more useful and they socialize. These works made by our trainees in our courses will now be transformed into products with Atölye Melikgazi. We have started a project called Atölye Melikgazi to produce products that can be sold and marketed both domestically and internationally. We are opening the first Atölye Melikgazi in Mimarsinan Neighborhood, God willing. Later, we will open Atölye Melikgazi in all our social facilities. Here, our women will produce a product that we have designed and trained them to make. The materials will be provided by us. As the municipality, we will buy a certain number of each product produced. We will also make a payment per product. Thus, after a while, women will participate in production. They will participate and support their own household economies with their earnings. This is also a social responsibility project. I hope you will contribute to this project as well. On this occasion, I wish all our trainees a successful end-of-year exhibition where they showcase their talents, and I thank our trainees and instructors for their efforts.” he said.
