Melikgazi Municipality will hold a tender on Thursday, May 21st, for 175 apartments and 14 shops located within the scope of the 2nd stage urban transformation project in Aydınlıkevler Neighborhood.
Stating that modern, orderly and safe buildings are being constructed in place of old buildings that have completed their physical lifespan in Melikgazi district, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, “Our Melikgazi is growing and developing with planned construction. Along with this growth, urban transformation projects are among our important works for our municipality. We are acting by planning not only today's but also the future of Melikgazi. The transformation model that our Melikgazi Municipality applies in the neighborhoods is not only a physical transformation; it carries a comprehensive urban vision that includes social, economic and spatial integrity. We are carrying out urban transformation works in many different areas, starting with the oldest buildings that are urgent in our district. We continue to make our citizens smile and make them happy. We have started working to transform the area opposite the old bus station in our Aydınlıkevler Neighborhood. We will hold a tender for the construction of 175 apartments and 14 shops here on Thursday, May 21st at 2 PM in the Melikgazi Municipality Council Hall. The apartments in the 7 blocks to be built will be 2+1 It is of considerable size. This is one of the entrances and important locations of Kayseri. We are working as much as we can to develop and beautify this region. We welcome all contracting firms that want to participate in our tender. After the tender, we will hopefully finish the construction of these blocks in a short time. Our urban transformation projects aimed at building more modern and livable residences in place of shanty towns and derelict structures that have completed their physical lifespan in Melikgazi will continue.” he said.
