Prof. Dr. stated that they have completed work on an area of ​​approximately 8,000 square meters for the park, which will meet a significant need in Yıldırım Beyazıt with its basketball courts, tennis courts, walking trails, and green space. Mustafa Palancıoğlu made the following statement in his statement:

“We are in the Yıldırım Beyazıt neighborhood. We attach great importance to parks, green spaces, and tree planting. During the coronavirus pandemic, we planned to build 80 parks in 80 days, quickly creating 80 parks covering 400,000 square meters in 80 days. Subsequently, demand increased, and the number of parks we have built has surpassed 300. We have cleared an area in our Yıldırım Beyazıt neighborhood that has been idle for years, requiring expropriation, and home to shantytowns and abandoned buildings. Once the legal procedures are complete, we are building a beautiful park here. We have all kinds of equipment here, from tennis courts and basketball courts to walking tracks and fitness equipment. It will be ready. It's a workspace of approximately 8,000 square meters. There was a lot of demand here; there's a dense population. Hopefully, we're bringing our new park here. Therefore, Melikgazi is taking on an even more beautiful appearance with our new parks and renovations. Hopefully, this will be finished in a month. Our slogan is: "We plant trees, not saplings."
