Melikgazi Municipality will inaugurate another human-centred project by establishing the Akıl Küpü Library and İkinci Bahar House in Mimsin Şirintepe Neighbourhood, providing a space for young people to study and offering a quality environment for the elderly to spend their time.

Emphasizing the importance given to youth and education in Melikgazi, Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, reminded that they have provided a total of 15 libraries to Melikgazi. He stated, 'We have served our district in many areas over the past 5 years, implementing numerous projects in a short time. In this context, the Akıl Küpü Library and İkinci Bahar House, whose foundation we recently laid in our Şirintepe Neighbourhood, are nearing completion. Hopefully, we will finish it soon and inaugurate it.' The lower floor of the facility will be the İkinci Bahar House. It will include our café, private study rooms, and spaces for our youth to study. In these areas, young people will be able to study and read books in a comfortable and conducive environment. Mimsin is a neighbourhood with a dense population, and we have made every effort to address the needs in this area by implementing various services. Especially with boutique projects, we are addressing the needs of neighbourhoods. We aim to prevent congestion in the city centre and ensure that everyone receives services in their own neighbourhood. We have been successful in this regard. Our libraries, which we have implemented in many neighbourhoods, have received great interest, with over 30,000 members. I hope this new library, which our youth will surely love, will be beneficial.
