Melikgazi Municipality laid the foundation of the Şükriye Yakıcı- Fatma Çetiner Family Health Centre, which will be built in Kazım Karabekir Neighbourhood with philanthropic cooperation. In Melikgazi, where record services are provided, 7 family health centres have been planned so far, 3 of which are at the project stage

       Reminding that there will be no need for health in Melikgazi until 2024, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “Turkey is one of the countries in the best position in the world in terms of health.

       Turkey is gradually strengthening this health infrastructure. Urban transformation work continues intensively in Kazım Karabekir Neighbourhood. We are not only laying the foundation of the health centre here, we are building schools and we have gained new parks and roads. Here, the population has increased considerably with the urban transformation. We decided to build a health centre here in order to increase the service intake in the neighbourhood. We started this work in cooperation with our benefactors. Hopefully, we will finish our health centre, which will cost approximately 3 million TL and named as Şükriye Yakıcı- Fatma Çetiner, in a very short time. We are making investments such as schools, mosques and health centres, which are our main goal, even though it is not our primary duty in the municipality. Our aim is to ensure that our citizens receive service. Currently, there is a great demand for our Melikgazi from philanthropists. Because we make them the crown of the head. And we are quickly implementing our project. We are currently building a record number of family health centres, social facilities, schools, mosques and Quran courses. We are implementing nearly 40 facilities. 7 of them are family health centres. Until 2024, there will be no need for health in Melikgazi. As long as our citizens get service in the neighbourhood.

Provincial Health Director Ali Ramazan Benli said, “May Allah grant us to complete it with goodness. We would like to thank our President Mustafa Palancıoğlu and his team for their cooperation. They really take care of whatever problem we have. We care about working with local governments. I wish our health centre, the foundation of which we laid, to be beneficial.” he said. Kazım Karabekir District Headman Şeref Bölükbaşı also wished the health centre, which will meet a great need in his neighbourhood, to be beneficial.
