Melikgazi Municipality continues to implement visionary projects aimed at the needs of the district. The construction of which is rapidly rising in Selçuklu Neighborhood; Serving many purposes, from outdoor weddings to cultural events, from condolence receptions to social gatherings, the Selçuklu Neighborhood Social Facility is counting down the days to its opening. Located right behind Beştepeler Park, at a strategic point at the entrance to the Selçuklu Neighborhood and the Eskişehir Bağları region, the facility stands out with its multi-purpose structure. Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr., who inspected the construction works on site... Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that the project would be very suitable for the region and said the following: “We are building a very beautiful and high-quality project in the area behind Beştepeler Park, at the entrance of Selçuklu Neighborhood and Eskişehir Bağları region. This will be a social facility that will be used as both a wedding hall and a funeral home. It includes separate rooms for men and women, a kitchen, and modern amenities. When the landscaping of the exterior is completed, it will become a magnificent wedding hall where outdoor weddings will be held. In winter months, funerals are especially held in indoor venues. This place will also be used for funerals. Therefore, this facility will be dual-functional and will fulfill an important function. It is a beautiful project that we will implement in many of our neighborhoods. We are also building this project in Küçük Bürüngüz and Subaşı neighborhoods, and we will bring it to many of our neighborhoods. We are really pleased with it; it has become a very beautiful and stylish project. Afforestation works, landscaping works and we will all celebrate the opening of this place together once its furnishings are completed. We can also see Mount Erciyes, Kayseri's most important asset, from here, the view is wonderful. May it be auspicious and successful. I thank all my colleagues.”
