The Mayor of Melikgazi is Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu, said that they will build a completely multi-purpose and large-scale indoor bazaar by bringing a new understanding to the covered bazaar places.

Stating that this marketplace, which will include fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and other foods that will include fresh daily products will become a social place of society in a way, the Mayor Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu said, "In these places where organic food sales will be held and all kinds of food sales will be possible, there will also be a sale of antique items, works of art, handmade products.

There will be many venues, from flower shops, to spice shops, to restaurants. There will be cafes, seating and chat rooms for those who come to shop. Not only the shopping centre, but also these closed marketplaces where citizens can relax and chat will also be an occasion for the development and strengthening of local trade. I hope this project will be a project that will give colour not only to that region but also to Kayseri. We will have brought a different the covered bazaar places to our Melikgazi." said.
