The project that will increase the tourism was introduced to the press

       Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu held a press conference to share the Seljuk Monument project, which he promised among the election projects with the public.

      Covering an area of ??730 square meters, the double-headed eagle monument, which is 10 meters high and 15 meters wide, was loaded with various functions such as movement and eagle voice.

      Stating that they want to pass on the Seljuk architecture to future generations and contribute to culture, art and tourism, they want to implement the Seljuk Square and Monument project. President Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “You can see madrasas, mosques, inns and baths from the Seljuk period in every corner of Kayseri.Tourism is now possible in many areas. We share with you the Seljuk Monument, which we have designed as a double-headed eagle as a Seljuk symbol.We need to stimulate tourism somehow. When we discuss this issue, the Great Seljuk State emerges. Kayseri is a Seljuk city. Our Melikgazi is a district that took its name from the Seljuks. We serve a town full of Seljuk artifacts. In this regard, we wanted to make a Seljuk Square and Monument.When the Seljuks are mentioned, sincerity, trust, struggle and modesty come to mind. Seljuk has many values. The double-headed eagle of the Seljuk emerges as an element representing government and power. This project has not been approved yet. After conducting a public opinion poll, we will implement this monument and square project.Our monument, which covers an area of 730 square meters and is 10 meters high and 15 meters wide will be surrounded by a gathering area under a large square and areas to take photos around. We especially want Erciyes Mountain to be behind the Monument. There should be a symbol representing Kayseri. The Seljuk Monument should leave its mark on Kayseri. We want to attract tourists coming to the city to this area. I think it is important to make the Seljuk Square and Monument in Kayseri important to emphasize that Kayseri is a Seljuk city.
