“As Melikgazi Municipality, we attach great importance to education.
With the support of our Governor, our Provincial Director of National Education, and our philanthropists, we continue to build schools. The number of schools we have built is approaching 30. In particular, Mustafa Eminoğlu Anatolian High School, which was a risky structure due to the earthquake, was demolished. Our Provincial Directorate of National Education included a part of it in the investment.
They allocated a 4000 square meter area to us that was needed for a primary school. Our philanthropist also stated that he wanted to build such a school. Construction work will begin with ADAL Group A.Ş. A beautiful primary school will be built in the name of our philanthropist Cengiz Hakan Bey's father, Nurullah, and a kindergarten will be built within the school in the name of his mother. It will have 16 classrooms. "Today we are signing a protocol for a primary school. I wish it to be beneficial and thank those who contributed."
Provincial Director of National Education Coşkun Esen said, "We are signing a protocol for the construction of a 16-classroom primary school, thus completely solving our primary school problem in that region and eliminating double-shift teaching in the area. I would like to thank Mr. Cengiz on behalf of Adal Group A.Ş. for his philanthropy, and I express my gratitude on behalf of all my children. I would like to thank Melikgazi Municipality in this regard; as in this case, they have always been on the side of our Ministry and our directorate, and on the side of our children, regarding other education investments. I think that under the leadership of our Governor, we will encounter much more modernized education buildings and more manageable, safer school environments from the next academic year onwards."
Kayseri Provincial Director of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change
Mehmet Fatih Namık Öztürk wished the protocol to be beneficial and thanked those who contributed.
On behalf of Adal Group A.Ş., philanthropist Cengiz Hakan Arslan stated that they wanted to build a school at his father's request; “My father,
Nurullah Arslan, had previously built a mosque in the Melikgazi region, and now he wanted a school to be built. We visited our esteemed Mayor Mustafa Palancıoğlu, and thankfully he paved the way for us. As Adal Group A.Ş., together with my partner Osman Atıcı, we will quickly build the school and hand it over to our National Education Directorate and Melikgazi Municipality.” he said.
