Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said that as Melikgazi Municipality, 7 transformer stations were allocated to 6 areas within the boundaries of the district.

Reminding that there are 58 neighbourhoods within the boundaries of Melikgazi district, and in these areas, transformer centres have been established by the Kayseri Electricity Company in order to ensure that the lighting, heating and all kinds of electrical devices can operate uninterruptedly. Mustafa Palancioğlu noted that the transformer centres will be built in suitable areas indicated by the municipality.

Expressing that electricity transmission poles are underground in many regions and neighbourhoods in Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu also made the following statements on the subject:

"The areas where all transformer centers are located within the boundaries of the district have been allocated by the municipality. Neighbourhoods in Melikgazi are growing and developing. With the increase of multi-storey buildings in the neighbourhoods, the need for energy also increases. Gesi, Köşk, Battalgazi, Aydınlıkevler, Ağırnas, A place has been allocated for the construction of transformers and uninterrupted energy, especially in Fatih Neighbourhoods. "
