Cleaning Teams Work Day and Night Non-Stop

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. said that they provided a more livable district to the citizens thanks to the cleaning works carried out. We continue our cleaning services without interruption by reaching every neighborhood within the borders of our district day and night. We provide cleaning services with modern and technological vehicles. Cleaning expenses are among the biggest expenses of our Melikgazi Municipality. We spend one-third of our budget on cleaning. One-third of our personnel do cleaning. We clean Melikgazi with 41 garbage trucks, 22 road sweeping vehicles, 16 recycling vehicles and over 400 employees. Our teams working day and night collect approximately 161 thousand 135 tons of garbage per year and 440 tons of garbage per day. Our cleaning teams, who provide uninterrupted service 24/7 throughout the district, do not only collect garbage; they also work intensively in many areas such as sweeping the streets and avenues, disinfecting the containers and removing excavations. is making an effort. We are also conducting training and awareness activities to increase environmental awareness.
