Melikgazi Municipality Marriage Registry Office experienced a high volume of marriage ceremonies in 2025. With the renovation of the marriage halls in 2025 and their commencement of service under the names Mihrimah Sultan Marriage Hall and Mimarsinan Marriage Hall, 4000 marriage ceremonies were performed.

Remarkable numbers were reached, especially on special days that are in high demand for wedding dates. On May 5, 2025, 60 weddings were held, and on special days with high demand, such as May 25, 2025, 40 weddings were held, making Melikgazi Municipality the municipality that performed the most weddings in the province. Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, congratulated all the couples who got married and stated that they are excited to host thousands of weddings in 2026. Mayor Palancıoğlu made the following statement: “Marriage is one of the most important turning points in life. Establishing a family and raising individuals who are beneficial to society is a great responsibility. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are very happy to witness the happiest days of our couples. Our Mihrimah Sultan and Mimarsinan Wedding Halls, which we renovated in 2025 and gave a modern and elegant look, have received great appreciation from our citizens. Citizens who want to get married can apply to our Melikgazi Municipality Marriage Registry Office with their identity card, photograph and health report.
