Melikgazi Municipality sold 20 of the 22 flats in Kazım Karabekir Neighbourhood, owned by the municipality, with the auction method, while 10 of the 11 offices and workplaces in Battalgazi and Tacettin Veli Neighbourhoods were negotiated, and 1 was sold.

Stating that 8 million 944 thousand TL was contributed to the municipal budget as a result of the tender, the Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, "With the efforts of our municipality, our neighbourhoods are getting a brand new vision with urban transformation and renewal works.As Melikgazi Municipality, our urban transformation works continue in different areas. We sold our 20 apartments, which we built with these works, by tender. Our ready-to-occupy flats were built according to the new zoning regulations. The apartments have now been delivered to our citizens, ready to live. There are playgrounds for our children in our residences, which have landscaping, pedestrian ways and parking areas. Our services will continue for the comfort of our citizens in our neighbourhoods that are open to development.Proceeds from the sales tender of the properties will return to our neighbourhoods as social facilities, schools and landscaping services and will create resources for investments.
