'Melikgazi Tomato Sauce Days ', which will be held in two separate regions for the benefit of all citizens, will be held in Mimar Sinan Mahallesi Evliyalar Mevkii between August 23 - September 02, 2021 and Belsin Kocatepe Neighborhood (Behind the Metropolitan Municipality Swimming Pool) between August 30 and September 12, 2021. 

    Making a statement on the subject, the Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “Unfortunately, in various parts of our Melikgazi Municipality, due to the fact that tomato sauce is boiled in the summer, our citizens are disturbed by the smoke.For this reason, the 'Paste Days' that we have started this year will first start in Mimarsinan Region Evliyalar Park and then continue in our Kocatepe Neighbourhood. We, as the municipality, of course support our citizens to prepare for winter and boil tomato sauce. We will provide all kinds of services in these areas to the best of our ability. In this year, as every year, in order to prevent the smoke and soot generated during tomato sauce boiling from causing discomfort to our neighbours; we have created special areas for you. In order to prevent environmental pollution and complaints, we request that tomato sauce not be boiled outside of the specified places. Please let's not boil tomato sauce between neighbourhoods and under buildings and let's not make our other citizens victims.
