In order to support service quality and personnel development, Melikgazi Municipality, which continues its trainings, organized a large-scale Public Procurement Legislation Training covering many district municipalities in Kayseri, some provincial directorates and some public institutions.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that they attach importance to corporate success by strengthening the knowledge and skills of the personnel, and that similar trainings will continue at certain intervals. The training included detailed information about EKAP (Electronic Public Procurement Platform) and electronic public procurements, as well as training on preparing tender documents, creating and submitting bids, evaluating bids, signing and implementing contracts, and electronic auctions.

Melikgazi Municipality, Human Resources and Training Directorate The training, organized under the leadership of Public Procurement Authority Group Head Çiğdem Gökçe, provided detailed information to the participants for 2 days on the Implementation Regulation on the Electronic Procurement of Public Procurements published in the Official Gazette on 18.05.2024 and the general provisions of the Public Procurement Law, tender documents, document and complaint applications, tender commission working procedures and principles, rules in the law regarding the criteria to be requested in tenders, tender procedures, direct procurement, electronic tender and the new regulation that came into force on August 1. In addition, detailed information was provided about the application principles of the Public Procurement Contracts Law. It was also stated that these trainings are important for reinforcing the relevant personnel's knowledge on the subject.
