The Lifelong Learning Year-End Exhibition consisting of handcrafted works prepared and produced by trainees who attended the courses organized by MELMEK (Melikgazi Vocational Training Courses) and District Public Education Center Directorate has been opened.

The opening of the exhibition was carried out by Melikgazi District Governor Sedat Sırrı Arısoy, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, Kayseri Provincial National Education Director Coşkun Esen, District National Education Director Hacı Kaya, Melikgazi Martyr Hüseyin Danacı Public Education Center Director Head Teacher Hakan Tatlı.

Each Product Shows Great Devotion, Labor and Patience

Making the opening speech of the exhibition, President Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "We have opened the Lifelong Learning Year-End Exhibition consisting of the handcrafted works prepared and produced by our trainees who received training in our courses organized jointly with MELMEK and our District Public Education Center Directorate. Each product exhibited in the exhibition shows devotion, labor and patience. Thank you to the hands and labor of our trainees. Hopefully, as Melikgazi, we are implementing a beautiful project in Kayseri. Its furnishing is final We have reached the stage. As Melikgazi Municipality, we had moved the old Dedeman Middle School to its new place in Hunat Neighborhood and demolished the reinforced concrete building that had completed its life. Instead, we restored the old stone building of Nazmi Toker Primary School, which consists of 2 floors and a basement, next to our new park in an area of ​​7 thousand square meters. This place will start to serve under the name of Nazmi Toker Art Center. A beautiful exhibition hall and training center of Kayseri has emerged. There will be various workshops here. The workshops will include many areas such as ceramics, tiles, jewelry, photography studios, styling. There will be workshop applications after the trainings given in different areas. We will have a project called Atölye Melikgazi to market the handicrafts made. Therefore, we will contribute to the household economy of our women. The efforts of our women, our youth and all our trainees are very valuable to us. Our Nazmi Toker Art Center and Atölye Melikgazi, as in many other areas, We will achieve success together again. I would like to thank our District Governor, National Education Director, District and Public Education Director for their support.” he said.

Kayseri Provincial National Education Director Coşkun Esen also made a speech and said, “Wherever there are people, there is definitely a learning activity. Our Public Education Directorates, lifelong learning, maturation institutes are the institutions where our teaching activities take place. The products made with great effort and labor throughout the year were exhibited here. I thank you for your efforts and wish that your learning activities continue for a lifetime. Good luck.” he spoke.

Melikgazi District Governor Sedat Sırrı Arısoy said, “Education and training are a lifelong process. We learn new things at every age. In this context, the activities carried out by Public Education Centers are very, very important. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this exhibition where 1 year's work is exhibited.” he said.

In the exhibition, products prepared in many different branches from traditional handicrafts to modern designs were presented to the visitors.
