The Mayor of Melikgazi is Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu, first phase of a large study covering an area of 140 thousand square meters where landscaping, parking, roads, sidewalks and afforestation will be carried out in the Tacettin Veli Neighbourhood. He said they started the stage.
They are determined to increase the number of parking lots in Melikgazi and make the environment lush, he said, “We started working in our Tacettin Veli Neighbourhood in the city centre. This is a section of downtown that we call the guest room. Starting from the last 3 years, the landscaping work, parking, roads, sidewalks and greening works that we have done from Kartal square to this side continue in stages. A large work begins on the area of 140 square meters. We have started our first stage work immediately after the second stage work will begin. With the increase in the number of vehicles, there was a traffic and parking problem in the city centre. We are working here to ensure the use of regular parking and free parking. At the same time, we will green many trees by bringing them here. We also agreed with the old abandoned houses with property problems in the area, demolished, and cleaned this place up.
