CROSSROADS OF MELIKGAZI TURNED GREEN

Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said that by greening the intersections in the city centre, visual feast areas were created. Planting of plants suitable for the season is carried out at the intersections.
Stating that the intersections in the city centre are equipped with lush plants in order to contribute to the visual beauty and urban aesthetics, President Dr. Palancioglu made the following statements regarding the intersection arrangements:
“We are constructing new intersections within the boundaries of Melikgazi district for both providing visual beauty and safer and more comfortable transportation. While ensuring safe traffic flow with the intersections we have built, we also attach importance to the landscape of the intersections.We continue to work on arranging and beautifying the areas all over our Melikgazi.Interchanges and medians are maintained every year in the spring, and we try to decorate them with colourful flowers and plants after this maintenance.We are working to make our district an exemplary life centre.With a new application this year, 25-year-old plane trees are planted right in the middle of the intersections.In the coming years, a different view will be created with the large plane trees in the middle of these intersections.”
