644. MIMARSINAN EVLIYALAR DAY AND RICE ACTIVITY ARE OF GREAT INTEREST

Organized by Melikgazi Municipality, 644. Mimarsinan Evliyalar Day and Pilaf Event were held in unity and togetherness with the intensive participation of citizens in Mimarsinan Evliyalar District.
The Mayor of Melikgazi, who said that Evliyas are commemorated with prayers at the beginning of their graves, Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "Prayers were said at the graves of our citizens and evliyas who participated in the program.
Sayyid Burhanettin, the spiritual architects of our city, was the first one. Most importantly, we thank and pray to these friends of Allah, who, like His Holiness Melikgazi, who bears the name of our Melikgazi, have conquered both hearts and brought Anatolian lands to Islam. After saying our prayers at the cemetery, we went to the promenade and served our compatriots 50 cauldron meat pilaf, which was started to be cooked very early in the morning. I wish that such good days would be an occasion for our unity, togetherness, goodwill and solidarity. In order to keep the cultures alive and keep them alive, the traditional rice event, which was held in order to have a pleasant time in unity and togetherness with the people of the district, has attracted great attention from our citizens. I would like to thank all my fellow citizens who participated in our event. I would also like to thank my colleagues who are working hard. May my Allah not break our unity and togetherness." said.
